내가 나이가 들었구나 하고 느끼는 순간 쓸 수 있는 표현이다. 직역하면 내 나이를 느꼈다 인데 이 표현을 모르면 영어로 표현하기 어려울것 같다. 

I really felt my age at work. All my colleagues looked very young. 

You really start to feel your age when you spend time around these kids. 

Treat your skin to Empathy and it will never feel its age. 

Get on in years. 

찾아보면 Old. 라고 짧게 해석되어있는데 한국말도 늙다와 나이들다 두가지 표현이 있는것처럼 같은 의미 다른 표현 인것 같다. on in 전치사가 2개 연이어 나옴에 유의하자. 

Although she's getting on in years, she still looks young. 

As one gets on in years, one getswiser but not stronger.

Gentleman, like me, is getting on in years and has to use glasses forreading.

Golden age.

Period of prosperity. 직역하면 번영의 기간 의역하면 황금기 또는 전성기. 오히려 설명해준다고 풀어써준게 더 어렵다. 국어사전에도 그런경우 많으니까.

In this day and age

현재에 또는 지금은, 현대 세상에서는 으로 해석된다. 영어로는 in the present. 요즘에는 어떻다더라 하는 생활건강 관련 기사에서 많이 본것 같다.

In this day and age, horrible crimes are very occurrence.  

Even in this day and age the old attitudes persist.

Long in the tooth. 

Very old 이라는 뜻이다. 유래를 찾아보니 말 이빨에서 왔다고 한다  말 이빨은 사람의 치아와 달리 계속 자라고 마모되기 때문에 나이에 따라 이빨의 길이가 다른데 늙은 말일수록 이빨이 긴데서 왔다고 한다. 

I think he is a bit long in the tooth to be a romantic hero in that play. 

I’m a bit long in the tooth for all-night parties.

When employees are long in the tooth in their jobs, they’re grumpy, disgruntled.

Young at heart. 

나이가 들었음에도 불구하고 젊은 마음을 가지고 있을때, 즉 마음은 청춘이라는 우리말과 같은 의미다. 

Although he is over 80, he still feels young at heart. 

At age 63, my mom is still young at heart.
